DESCRIPTION:Joe Caro’s “Friday Night Live” (FNL)\nFor two decades\, legendary New York Guitarist Joe Caro had a jam session of sorts in New York City featuring some of the best studio and recording musicians New York had to offer. This weekly engagement became legendary and was the place to be for live music. Joe is going to recreate this night of music\, “Friday Night Live\,” here on Maui with his good friends Jay Molina on Bass\, Mark Johnstone on Keys\, and Marty Fera on Drums. Who knows\, there may even be a special guest or two showing up!\nReservations are recommended!\nA $10 music charge will be added to your bill when you arrive.\nABOUT JOE:Joe Caro is a guitarist\, composer\, and singer born and raised in New York City. Early influences included the British Invasion\,  Blues and Jazz. At a young age\, he started working in the studios and touring the US\, Japan\, and Europe. He has recorded with Bette Midler\, Blue Öyster Cult\, Carly Simon\, Michael Franks\, Bobby McFerrin\, Gato Barbieri\, Michael McDonald\, Fania Allstars\, Chaka Khan\,  Randy Brecker\,  and many more.\nJoe has toured with Dr. John\,  Herbie Mann\, Carly Simon /James Taylor\,  Michael Franks\, Akiko Yano\, played live or on TV for Jon Bongovi\, Clint Black\, Joan Osborne\, Pat Metheny\, Donald Fagen\, The Brecker Brothers\, The Blues Brothers\, Crosby\, Stills and Nash\, Roberta Flack\, The Eagles\, Sheryl Crow\, Olivia Newton-John\, Aretha Franklin\, Willie Dixon\,  Stanley Clarke\, Luther Vandross\, Dave Mason\, Steven Tyler\, Jonny Lang etc. and appeared in the house bands of The Late Show with David Letterman\, Saturday Night Live\, The Grammys and countless TV Commercials and Movies. Besides his work with Paul Shaffer\, with whom he’s had a working friendship for many years\, he is also musical director for Mick Fleetwood’s “House of Rumors” band. \nHe’s released three recordings of his own\, “Home Alone”\, “Live in New York City”\, and “Every Dog Has His Day” on Innsbruck Records and BFD on Iguana Records with sidemen Wil Lee and Steve Ferrone.
