Jerry Garcia Birthday Tributefeaturing Skeleton Krewe All-Star Band\nIn honor of Jerry\, an all-star band – world-class players who have performed\, toured and recorded with members of the Grateful Dead – will take the stage and delve deep into the songbook of the Jerry Garcia Band (JGB)\, as well as compositions from Jerry’s solo albums and other projects. It’s the soul\, R&B\, rock n’ roll\, reggae and more from JGB (plus\, a few\, timely sparklers from Garcia’s other repertoire) brought to life in stellar fashion by supremely talented musicians who are deeply inspired by Jerry and know and love the music\, and the person within it\, as well as anyone in the world. My sisters and brothers\, we are incredibly grateful that through a simple twist of fate\, this ensemble is coming together right now in Hawai‘i and bringing forth all the goodness and mighty high fun of beloved Jerry Garcia.\nOh yes\, what a wondrous feeling it is to connect with Jerry Garcia – whether it be through his songs\, recordings\, interviews\, art or the millions of fans worldwide who continue to embrace and reflect the heart and soul of Jerry’s musical legacy today. Jerry imbued his spirit in every musical endeavor he undertook.
