AG Presents is proud to bring Thurtdelic — an official member and vocalist of the legendary Parliament-Funkadelic for over a decade — to Hawaii for his debut performance in the islands. Known for his signature fusion of hip-hop, funk, and soul, Thurtdelic blends classic psychedelic grooves with modern rhythms and powerful songwriting. Backing him for the evening is Maui’s elite instrumental funk band, Three to 5, delivering the deep grooves and explosive energy that promise to light up the dance floor.

Also known as Thurteen, Thurtdelic is a contemporary singer, songwriter, and performer who has become a central figure in George Clinton’s 3rd Generation Parliament (3GP) movement — an initiative designed to introduce a new generation of artists into the P-Funk universe. His music carries the cosmic, Afrofuturistic spirit that made Parliament-Funkadelic iconic, centered around themes of unity, freedom, and fun, while pushing the sound into a modern era through a unique blend of hip-hop, funk, and soul.

Born Tairee Parks, Thurtdelic spent his early years growing up in Tallahassee, Florida, where music quickly became a central focus in his life. Surrounded by a wide range of musical influences, he dedicated himself to refining his craft and collaborating with musicians across multiple genres. In 2015, he worked with George Clinton on a studio project, and Clinton was so impressed by his songwriting and vocal abilities that he invited him to officially join Parliament-Funkadelic. As his role within the collective expanded, he adopted the stage name Thurtdelic.

After spending over a decade touring the world alongside George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic, Thurtdelic stepped forward as a solo artist, bringing his own vision to the ever-growing P-Funk fanbase. Now carrying the legacy into a new generation, he is currently promoting his critically acclaimed fourth album, Psychedelic Therapy. Following sold-out tours across Japan and Australia, Thurtdelic is building major momentum in 2026, with upcoming U.S. and European dates soon to be announced.

Supporting Thurtdelic is Three to 5, a powerhouse instrumental funk and soul group made up of seasoned musicians who have individually backed numerous acclaimed artists. The band has earned a reputation throughout Hawaii for opening for national touring acts and for supporting legendary bassist George Porter Jr. of the iconic The Meters. Their infectious rhythms, tight musicianship, and undeniable stage presence will make this a night of unforgettable funk and soul.
